La provocazione di Castello durante la settima edizione della “Festa del Legno”
Il tema di questa settima edizione della Festa del Legno è la Provocazione. Tante idee creative sono nate dalle mani dei nostri artigiani ma, nella bottega Castello, la Provocazione ha ispirato non solo l’arte del saper fare ma anche l’arte del tramandare.
Diverse opere del giovane scultore del legno Emanuele Prina, si sono mescolate ai meravigliosi ciocchi di radica che si estendono nel laboratorio di Pipa Castello. Opere che hanno stimolato la Provocazione e hanno suscitato emozioni contrastanti nelle persone che hanno preso parte agli eventi di Castello durante le “botteghe aperte”.
Ma la Provocazione di Castello non si ferma qui: il titolare Franco Coppo vuole lanciare una vera e propria Provocazione ai giovani, alle nuove leve che formeranno l’umanità del prossimo millennio.
Ascolto, concentrazione, creatività, interesse, manualità, passione, coraggio, determinazione. Sono tutti aggettivi che deve avere un artigiano che vuole imparare l’arte di ideare e creare una pipa.
Questo mestiere è un tesoro, un vero e proprio bottino da custodire e tramandare. Per questo il condottiero della Bottega Castello, vuole Provocare e nello stesso tempo Ispirare nuovi giovani a conoscere questo mestiere, esplorarlo, amarlo e impararlo.
Perché l’arte del saper fare, la manualità e l’artigianalità sono l’espressione del nostro genio, sono la rappresentanza della Brianza nel Mondo.
“Dedicarsi al lavoro manuale non consiste solo nel conoscere e padroneggiare un mestiere, ma consiste nell’amare, condividere e custodire la nostra tradizione, la nostra cultura e il nostro talento. – sottolinea Franco Coppo – ogni cosa si può costruire, inventare e reinventare, dando spazio all’immaginazione, alla sperimentazione e alla creatività”.
Ogni giorno nella bottega artigiana Castello, nascono vere e proprie opere d’arte, oggetti unici, collezioni molto ricercate in tutto Mondo da appassionati e collezionisti: “Invito tutti a visitare il nostro laboratorio, venire a conoscere questa arte, approfondire un’antica tradizione. – raccomanda Franco Coppo – La nostra bottega è sempre aperta a chi vuole esplorare questo mondo sia con gli occhi del consumatore che con quelli dell’artista artigiano. Il nostro obiettivo è avvicinare tutte le persone al lavoro fatto a mano per condividere ed appassionare anche le nuove generazioni. La riscoperta del passato e della tradizione ci permette di ragionare su cosa oggi intendiamo con il termine creatività e opportunità di crescita personale e aziendale. L’arte e i mestieri rappresentano gran parte del Made in Italy ed è importante ricordarlo e sottolinearlo sempre, per non veder volare via tutti i nostri migliori cervelli, alla ricerca di una posizione nel mondo quando nel loro paese ci sarebbe un grande bisogno di innovazione proprio nella tradizione”.
