Un racconto intimo e sincero di Chino, il vezzeggiativo che Carlo Scotti usava per chiamare Franco Coppo, che ha voluto raccontare la storia della Castello, una creatura che ora sente così sua da non potersene staccare mai.
In queste pagine scopriamo un mondo fatto di tecnica, competenza e soprattutto esperienza. Un vero e proprio tesoro tramandato dallo zelante operaio del Canton Ticino che nei primi anni del ‘900 nutrì una grande passione per gli strumenti da fumo.
E fu proprio Carlo Scotti, esteta e amante dell’alta qualità a costruire con grande dedizione le prime basi di questo marchio d’eccellenza.
Qualità che ancora oggi troviamo in ogni pipa Castello, grazie al suo successore Franco Coppo che ha saputo coltivare questa passione negli anni, dedicando la propria vita alle sue figlie, le pipe.
