70esimo Pipa Castello
Nel lontano 1947 un sapiente ed ingegnoso artigiano si mise in testa di creare con le sue mani una Pipa straordinaria. Per fare ciò necessitava di un luogo confortevole e creativo e non poteva esserci ambiente migliore della sua bottega. Appunto bottega…non fabbrica. Stiamo parlando di Carlo Scotti, Fondatore della Pipa Castello, ad oggi uno dei marchi più amati al mondo dagli appassionati di Pipe e strumenti da fumo. Castello ha sempre imposto al mercato la propria filosofia: condurre una bottega, non una fabbrica, come teneva sempre a dire il suo fondatore. Oggi come ieri quell’esperienza continua con la stessa passione, nelle mani del suo successore Franco Coppo che continua a portare nel mondo questo notevole strumento artigianale.
La Pipa del 70esimo non poteva che celebrare l’amore, la naturalezza e la spontaneità con le quali questi strumenti vengono lavorati. Nascere per stupire e per affascinare, verrebbe da dire. Come insegna la buona vecchia arte Made in Italy. E infatti i possessori di Pipa Castello sono dei veri e propri amanti. Non importa che si possieda una Pipa o una intera collezione.
Le calde forme rendono questa Pipa molto maneggevole e sensibile al tocco. Sulla ghiera echeggia un traguardo importante: 70! Avvolto tra l’alloro, in segno di vittoria, a celebrare un trionfo di originalità e saper fare! Una volta per tutte possiamo dirlo: Castello ha fatto la storia degli strumenti da fumo nel mondo. Una bottega conosciuta e frequentata, un laboratorio artigiano rimasto intatto negli anni. Anni che hanno visto passare anche tanti volti noti che si sono fermati con piacere ad assaporare una Castello insieme a chi l’ha prima pensata e poi realizzata.
Infine un caloroso grazie a coloro i quali con passione hanno dato tutto il loro saper fare a queste Pipe: i nostri artigiani. Stare curvati tutto il giorno su un pezzo di radica non è facile ma già l’odore del legno vivo aiuta! Il resto lo fanno la passione e la voglia di fare! E a Cantù conosciamo bene queste parole.
Che dire! Un grazie infinito ai numerosi sostenitori che in tutto il mondo esaltano e sostengono il nostro Marchio rendendoci fieri del nostro lavoro, ogni giorno…da settant’anni a questa parte! Tutti insieme per un solo grande obiettivo: mantenere alto il nome della Castello nel mondo.
